Independence Day Speech
Respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends,
First of all, I would like to thank you for giving me such a great opportunity to speech on Independence Day.
It is indeed an occasion of great joy that this year 77 years of our independence have been completed and I feel very happy to address all of you on this occasion today.
As Indians, we feel very proud on the day of 15th August, because on this day our motherland finally got freedom after years of struggle and sacrifice made by our ancestors.
We should never forget the sacrifice made by our ancestors and should always respect this freedom of ours, also we should keep the feeling of patriotism in our hearts.
Because if we do not do this then it will be an insult to our ancestors and revolutionaries.
Our country has always been prosperous, due to which it was also called the golden bird.
The British did not attack us directly, but they occupied different parts of our country through their cunning and insidious policies on the pretext of trade, for which they resorted to policies like “divide and rule”.
We all know that our country is full of diversity and the British took advantage of this to divide us into all kinds of grounds like religion, caste, class, and sect, and we Indians could not recognize this cunning behavior of theirs and took advantage of this.
When this painful and tyrannical behavior of the British crossed all limits, then many freedom fighters like Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Rani Laxmi Bai came forward and faced this situation firmly, the British Be successful in expelling from our country.
Along with this, he also exposed the devious policies of the British, under which he wanted to establish his rule in our country. After many struggles and due to the organized efforts of the people, we were able to get freedom.
Our revolutionaries saw that golden dream in which our country would be completely independent and to fulfill this dream they not only fought but also sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
Our country faced many difficulties during this entire time period. However, once we got independence, we never looked back.
Our country is also progressing rapidly in science, technology, agriculture, and industry. During this many terrorist attacks and political scams took place in our country.
Those who shook the economy and unity of our country, but still our country is progressing with the same enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
So let’s take an oath that we will always try to increase the pride of our country through our works and will never let the sacrifices of our ancestors and great revolutionaries go in vain.

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, today on the occasion of Independence Day, we all have gathered here and it is my good fortune that I have got a chance to present my thoughts before all of you on this auspicious occasion of Independence Day.
First of all, Happy Independence Day to all of you. Do you know which Independence Day of India is being celebrated this year? This year India’s 76th Independence Day is being celebrated.
The freedom struggle started when a revolutionary named Mangal Pandey was shot by the British officer of the British rule. Since then the entire Indian countrymen raised their voice against the British. We and our country did not get this freedom from the British so easily.
Many revolutionary fighters made sacrifices to get the freedom of the country such as- Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Mangal Pandey, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Lok Manya Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai and Khudiram Bose etc.
Mahatma Gandhi launched the Satyagraha movement to fight for freedom and many times he had to go to jail as well. But he did not give up. Because his only goal was to get India freedom from the British rule and after suffering a lot of atrocities and struggle, he was successful as a result.
